Meet Kate, the Owner & Founder of Tobi & Peanut Therapy Ponies, located in the serene Banbridge area of Northern Ireland. Kate has always been aware of the healing powers of horses and how they can help people grow in confidence and improve their life skills. She believes that horses are the best teachers and can help people deal with challenges and realize their potential. Kate’s passion for horses and helping people led her to create a unique experience that combines the outdoors and animals to talk in a safe place. She has a small yard just outside Banbridge in a rural setting with her own herd of six horses of varying sizes and ages, all of which are well-handled, well-loved, and cared for.

Kate is a highly experienced professional in the Youth Sector, holding a BA Hons Degree in Working with Young People and Children. She is also a certified expert in Equine Facilitated Learning and has received training in brief solution focus therapy, UUJ Diploma in Counselling, Family Group Conferencing, and Informed Trauma Approach. Kate is an Accredited Member of the ACCPH and has worked with individuals of all ages in a helping capacity within voluntary agencies. Additionally, she holds Enhanced Access NI clearance to work in Education Authority, making her an ideal candidate for any project in this.
